I have a mono copy with gold label and black printing, with "COLPIX" in red squared letters curving around the top of the label.  The cover od a second mono copy has colors slightly different (the words THE AMAZING are more brown, the word NINA is more orange, the word SIMONE is more light).

According Chris Unger stereo issues on this light blue label have often proved to be in fact mono, even if the album was released in true stereo previously. The disc is really stereo or mono?

Sings Ellington (1962)
According Chris Unger, there are two different covers for this LP.
The first has a drawn large full face of Nina on the right side of a red cover with "Nina Simone Sings Ellington" in large letters on the left ("Sings Ellington" in script).
The second cover has "Nina (Red) Sings (Gray) Duke (Purple) Ellington" (Blue) centered on a white cover with hand-drawn stage curtains on each side, a one-inch full face photo of Nina wearing a gold queen's crown in the upper left, and a gold King's crown over the "E" in "Ellington".
The back covers of both versions are identical.
Ghent's re-issue of this album uses cover #1.

I have a stereo copy with cover #2, light blue label, black printing. Stereo issues on this light blue label have often proved to be in fact mono, even if the album was released in true stereo previously. The disc is really stereo or mono? I have also a stereo copy with cover #1.

Folksy Nina (1964)
I have a copy with label light blue with black printing, above the center hole is a piece of movie film with the words "COLPIX RECORDS" in black on a light blue background. Stereo issues on this light blue label have often proved to be in fact mono, even if the album was released in true stereo previously. The cover of my copy reports  "SCP-465 stereo", but the disc has "CP 465 mono". The disc is really stereo or mono?

With Strings (1966)
According to David Nathan, as this LP turned out "it became an instant rarity, barely distributed and almost unavailable from the time of its release".
I have a disk jockey copy CPL 496 with white label, black printing, and a piece of movie film with "Colpix Records". The side 2 label reports "Chain Gang" by Cooke but the tracks is actually "Work Song" by Oscar Brown and Nat Adderley.
