My wife and I live in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the east coast of the United States. We are considering flying to Seattle for this show. Currently the airlines are having a fare war and the round trip ticket across the country to Seattle is only $200.  

I want to book before these low fares go away but am hesitant to do so without being *sure* that Ms. Simone will actually be in Seattle. Any further word on a contract signing?

 Maybe in Seattle.  Let's make positive in Chicago at an intimate place.  
That would be perfect.  She could be at Park West where all seats are good seats.  I want to be the first to get a ticket.  I now have 7 cd's and am going to order My Baby Just Cares for Me.  My neighbor has the ablum with the song Little Girl Blue on it.  I love it.  In fact I love all her songs.

I love ms simone and when i found out that she was playing in a small club in n.y.c i reserved tickets then a few days later the club called me back and sayed that she had cancelled that was for june 10th i do believe .

I am thrilled to see that Nina has her own web page----and well done at that!  
I've noticed that MANY fans have inquired about her future performances. But there has been no reply to the desperate pleas from all who are dying to hear her live.  

PLEASE let us know when and where we can see and hear her. Personally, I'd travel to the ends of the Earth to hear just a few little notes! I have read her biography and own 14 of her cds. I have introduced countless friends to the genius of Dr. Simone and now they are followers as well. I've said for many years that anyone who dosen't "get Nina" has no place in my life. Nina's songs have allowed me both the time to greive certain events in my life as well as celebrate others. Her instrument carries a form of empathy expressing certain personal and universal truths that I hold very dear to my heart.  

It is my understanding that Dr. Simone lives in the South of France.  
I am traveling to Paris form the 8th to the 14th of February. And nothing would bring me greater joy than to meet her. If it is at all possible I would be eternally grateful if you would pass this communique on to her.

I have an aunt here in Norway who is a big fan of Nina Simone, and her biggest wish for her 50 year anniversary is a concert - with Nina Simone. So this is why I ask.
