The Nina Simone Web is a fantastic tribute to a remarkable artist. I am a new fan of her music and about a year ago, I read her autobiography ?I Put A Spell On You?. She is a fascinating woman and a great artist. Her voice is like no other and I think "Four Women? and ?Mississippi Goddam? are two of the best songs ever written. Also, Shirley Bassey recorded a live album in 1965 at the Pigalle in London. That album was released in the US under the title Shirley Bassey In Person. During the recorded narration between songs, Shirley says that she had just heard Nina Simone?s At Town Hall, and that she had become a great fan of Simone?s. In tribute to Simone, Shirley sang both The Other Woman and You Can Have Him. I know You Can Have Him is a much recorded standard but I don?t know of any other recorded versions of The Other Woman, so I thought perhaps you might wish to include that selection in your section on covers of songs popularized by Nina. Keep up the good work. Best Regards,

It is not "Lot of racks" (or what ever you had there) But the line should read... "The Dealer is the man with the Love Grass in his hand."

I thoroughly enjoyed your web page about Dr. Nina Simone. I just wanted to comment that I believe David Bowie did a cover of Wild is the Wind -- I think on "Changes2 Bowie" but am not sure. Regards, Sheri
