A Very Rare Evening
Additional discography

PM PMR-018 (1979 US)

It was recorded in Germany for a TV show and features Weldon Irvine on keyboards, Al Schackman on guitar and two ladies singing backup vocals. It has some very good songs and the performances were also very good.
Released also in Germany with same label and cover, catalog number 90053 (DE 1979).

It's her first LP in years but taped back in 1969 in Europe with a modest, unimpressive organ and rhythm section backup band. Simone is an aquired taste. But for those who appreciate her singing these eight tracks may prove welcome. Best cuts: "Save Me," "To Love Somebody."
-Billboard 15 December 1979.

There is also a release on CD with 24 bit digital remastering. Go to CD version.
