In the article The Ins and Outs of Rendering Intents (The Most Complicated Part of Using Color Management) Joseph Holmes comments about several technical and practical aspects of ICC color management.

In Realizing Good Intentions with Rendering Intents (2001) Bruce Fraser explain in a simple manner and with ten illustrations what rendering intents are.
